I filed a complaint with CFPB about my American Express Account. I received a letter from American Express, in light of your investigation, stating that my account would be re-aged and the delinquencies would be removed. I have since filed - disputes with - regarding my account, attaching the letter I received from American Express. After much frustration, I called - and explained what happened. They told me American Express uses a different account # from my actual credit card # when reporting to credit reporting agencies. They said the would send the letter to American Express to verify. I just received their investigation and once again, the account has not been re-aged as stated in the letter I received from American Express. To add insult to injury, American Express now has my account as being closed in -, not -.
