Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Washington

Affinity Global ( was - ) has called my ex-husband, his sister-in-law, my father and my daughter telling them I owe a debt and implying that I am in legal trouble for non-payment - - of which are not true and is in violation of federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. They call my phone at least - a day after I have told them many times that the debt is not mine. I sent a letter in - -/-/2015 asking them to desist and to remove my number, and the number of anyone they associate with me from their records, yet they still continue to call and harass me and family and friends. Their language is threatening when they leave a message. Usually, they will call - and hang up when they get voice mail, then they will immediately call again. The caller ID on my phone shows the calls coming from different states and numbers, yet it 's always the same person, - -, that leaves a message. I would like these calls to stop. I have also never received any kind of written notice from this company.
