Discover Credit card department,
Discover Financial services is excessively running credit inquiries from -. They are inquiring at least once every two weeks, in once case twice in ONE day, in a couple of cases, one week apart, and apparantly have done so for at least several years. They are no longer a creditor to me, has not been since -/-/-, and I will never be a cardholder of theirs again. In addition, according to the credit report, they plan on continuing to be on my record until -/-/-. I have since had another creditor raise my APR due to, at least in part, this excessive and needless practice. I need them to not only stop running these inquiries, but remove me from any list they may have me on as a prospective customer, and also need to remove themselves from my report altogether, as I have not been an account holder for over 7 years. I tried to report this to Experian, but their website is not working correctly to do so, and there is no actual phone number to contact a real person.
