This debt collector is in violation of the FCRA. The FCRA requires debt buyers to notify you when they report negative information to a CRA. Not only was I never notified but once I learned I had a collection on my credit report I disputed this with the collection company as well as -. I sent a cease and desist letter via certified mail asking them to remove the false delinquency as I would deal with the original creditor only. Neither have complied with removing this account from my credit reports.
