Federal student loan Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received New Hampshire

I submitted my loan towards - - a few months ago for - -. Today I have received a letter in the mail stating that $25000.00 was sent to collections. This is not correct. I filled out a loan for the amount that I owed - college and it confirmed that the loan was all set. Now I have this $25000.00 in collections and can not go about paying for this without a loan. This will be under my belt for the rest of my life. I was never notified that it did n't go through or that the money was going to be sent to collections. I 'm very upset that this has happened and would like to solve this problem asap. Whether that means taking the money out so I can process the loan again or I 'm going to have to find other ways for this to be solved.
