Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt California

I received a phone call today regarding debt for a card/bank account that I never had. These people also called my wife, my uncle, and my work. When I called the phone number, they informed me that I had 50 minutes to pay the settlement amount or they would take me to court to pay almost double the settlement amount. I have never received any papers in the mail or via a process server from these people as they have claimed. They threatened me verbally over the phone, and I am - and I do not need this now.
