JPMorgan Chase Credit Card Complaint

JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,

Advertising and marketing Georgia

Chase markets a Slate '' card with a no fee balance transfer and 0 % APR for 15 months. This is found via -. Chase 's online application process walks you through steps that include a request for balance transfer. Chase 's process is to bait the consumer with a rate/fee available, to then take information for purposes of a credit check, then to step the consumer through a process of obtaining the card, and only then AFTER the card has been issued, to inform the consumer that they do not in fact qualify for the premium '' pricing that is marketed for the card. In other words, Chase 's online process does not permit the consumer an option to decide whether to accept the card, given the actual pricing, before the card issues. I called Chase immediately and registered this concern, and they cancelled the account without charge. Nevertheless, this impacts my credit report and is deceptive marketing.
