I had - late payment to - - Bank in -/-/-. Since then - have not had a late payment. I have had the card since -/-/-. I did not havehave a late payment prior to -/-/-. They put this account in the con-sidered negative '' category and refuse to remove it from that categoryuntil -/-/-.. .7 years of punishment for - late payment. I contacted thebank and they said that they did not request the negative assessment. Icontacted the reporting agency and they refuse to adjust the time line. The punishment is onerous and unfair and I am unable to find a way toremove the negative connotation. I am not saying that I was not late thatone time - I am not arguing about the validity of the lateness '' but I amupset that I can not get the account re-classified. 7 years is way toolong to be punished for - late payment.
