Closing/Cancelling account Indiana

I had a judgment against me in -/-/- with Chase Bank at - County Courthouse in -, FL. I paid their lawyer for almost a year and then stopped because I could no longer afford to. I received a - ( Cancellation of Debt ) from the IRS for Chase Bank for the amount I owed them. I have paid the IRS since this - showed that I had earned income for -/-/- Tax Year. I have spoken with Chase Bank and they will not update my credit report, they only show it as charged off now. I feel they need to alert the court and the Credit Bureaus that this is satisfied or something. I can not be responsible for earned income and still owe them money. I have also contact IRS and they said to contact Chase Bank.
