I was contacted by Van Ru Credit Corporation by phone ( - ), regarding collections for an outstanding claim which they would not identify. I called them back to request a validation notice, as well as any information on the claim, and they refused to provide it for me without my social security number. I hung up. I have not received a validation notice, nor any written communication from this entity ; therefore I can only assume fraud.
