PayPal Debt Collection Complaint

PayPal Debt collection department,

Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Kansas

Received a letter from - - stating that I owe them for a collection for PayPal. The amount that it 's states I owe is -. I checked my account on PayPal and it states my balance is $0.00 and I do not have an open credit card account on PayPal. I did a credit report and not does it show I have an open account at PayPal indicating my identity has not been stolen. I do not know why I received this collection unless it is a mistake on their part and I do not want this to effect my credit.
