False statements or representation Attempted to collect wrong amount California

A - - called and left a message stating that he was with my bank and that there was a payment that was rejected which reached breach of contract of which he never said what the amount was or what the contract was about. He then attempted to call my place of business several times in which I told my operator that it is illegal for creditor, whether I owe or not, to contact me at my place of business. I then received a text from a friend stating that someone called and left her a message which it was the same - - but told her something completely different and that i put her as a reference on an application and that he needed to get a hold of me.
