I thought it was a mistake and ignored the first text. I responded to the second text instructing them to bill my medical insurance. Yesterday, I received a letter from CMRE Financial Services saying that they are a collection agency and I owe $220.00. The notice claims that - - attempted to collect an unpaid balance and has since forwarded the account for collections. This is absolutely false. I made payments arrangements with Phx Childrens and have made monthly payments as I agreed to. The collection agency now is demanding payment in full with interest plus additional charges. This is - of many instances of billing errors CMRE has pulled on me over the years. In many cases they say there has been numerous attempts to collect outstanding medical debt from me that I had never received a bill for from either the doctor or the collection agency. I contacted their billing office and set up a payment plan. I paid the first payment in that amount. Every payment after that was more than the set amount.
