PNC Bank Credit reporting incorrect information on credit report account status

November 17, 2015 - I had a second mortgage with RBC account # -. This was settled for less than the original amount -/-/-. It is being reported on my credit as a " charge off ''. This is preventing us from getting a mortgage. I was told by PNC to submit the following information : the dismissal from RBC, the page of my credit report where the error appears, the bureau reporting as a charge off, and a brief description, referencing the RBC account number of what happened.
