DriveTime Consumer Loan shopping for a loan or lease March 30, 2016 - I filed bankruptcy in 2014. I reaffirmed my auto loan with DriveTime or DT Credit. When the bankruptcy was in process, DT Credit removed everything from my credit report pertaining to this loan. Once the bankruptcy was closed DT Credit will not report to any credit companies and the loan is nowhere on my credit reports. I understand that you should n't be allowed to put an inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it. When I went in the dealership, the manager told me that I was n't qualified for what the website said I was and if I wanted that vehicle I would have to put almost - down.
