I told them I did n't want a leased car I did n't need - my credit was exceptional. I am elderly and can not see very well out of - eye and I did not see that the contract was for a leased car and the salesman kept covering up the paperwork. So I tried for 3 years to get out of the contract and I went to another car dealer - - and they said they could get me out the lease and before I knew it they stuck me in another car. In the closing stages of financing, the loan officer offered me a package that included gap insurance and an extended warranty for $1300.00. I accepted but after financing was done and I reviewed my paperwork it showed that I was charged $1300.00 for an extended warranty and another $700.00 for gap insurance.
