Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt April 25, 2015 - I had an old dept. and a collection company bought the dept., I challenged them with a letter in accordance to fair credit Act which they had 30 days to respond under federal law and they had to remove it from my credit reports.
