December 17, 2015 - Consumer Portfolio Services ( - ) - Calls me periodically and asks about if I know where some person I 've never even heard of is and what he 's doing. They are INCESSANT about calling me even after I 've told them I have no idea who that is and that I have no outstanding debt with anyone and I 'm on a do not call registry. May 19, 2015 - I mailed off several complaints to different addresses for this company as well. Unfortunately, I was the victim of identity theft. I have done everything required of me by law to dispute the fraudulent items on my credit report. I sent a letter to CPS d/b/a Consumer Portfolio Services Inc '' on -/-/2014 via USPS certified mail. The company refuses to honor my rights under the FDCPA & the FCRA as a victim of identity theft to remove the fraudulent inquiry that was submitted without my knowledge, consent and/or authorization.
