The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is a 21st century agency that helps consumer finance markets work by making rules more effective, by consistently and fairly enforcing those rules, and by empowering consumers to take more control over their economic lives.
The CFPB will forward your complaint to FTC and work to get a response. After your complaint is forwarded, FTC has 15 days to respond to you and the CFPB. FTC is expected to close all but the most complicated complaints within 60 days.

FTC Consumer Loan managing the loan or lease June 17, 2016 - LoanNow has twice overstated the interest due on a simple interest contract. When I have in fact over paid them by $14.00 they are saying I owe them $27.00 and am now getting harassed by a collections company for $95.00. I have provided them with an amortization schedule twice now, the first time after speaking with their management they acknowledged the error and corrected their 'dashboard ' reporting tool and just now a second time showing the simple interest calculation.
