October 27, 2015 - A man called from a company called RMB - which I am not familiar with - and asked me to verify the last - digits of my social security number. I asked why. He said " it is a personal matter. '' He told me the last - digits of my social and again asked me to verify that those were mine. I again said, " why do you want to know? He said, " it is a personal matter. '' I told him I would not verify, so he hung up. My husband called the number and spoke with someone there who would still not disclose why they called me.
