Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) Student loan dealing with my lender or servicer having problems with customer service May 30, 2016 - HESAA loan there are really no repayment options except defaulting everything else no one really qualifies for if you can even get any info on it this loan was represented to me as a government loan not a private lender to make matters as bad as can be the website is almost impossible to even enter- i have to try at least a dozen times before i can even get to the login page. making a timely payment becomes impossible unless you have a few hours to devote to trying. there is no way to get billing notifications either through email or snail mail until you are late, then you get tons of them. is... |

When I called customer service I was greeted by a nasty customer service respresentative who refused to help me. I then called the office -, - New Jersey, as Hesaa is a state agency. They told me that there was no one who oversaw the agency and no one to file a formal complaint with. They then transferred me to someone within the agency. I spoke - and also emailed with them.
