A charge-off was reported on my account with - for a negative balance of ~ $15.00. The address the bank had on file was wrong, and so I did not know that I had a charge off until it was reported on my credit score. I then contacted the bank and paid off the negative balance. After paying off the balance, they agreed to have the charge-off removed ; however, there was no response from TransUnion. The collections department at the bank told me there was nothing left to do, but sent me the form they submitted to have the charge-off removed so I could remediate the issue myself. I submitted a complaint with TransUnion twice and received no response nor change to my credit report. The contact information I have on file with TransUnion is up to date - there has simply been no response.
