I was shopping for a car and the I put in a credit application with the dealership. For that single application I filled out, there are now - inquiries into my credit. - for the finance company, and - for the dealership. The dealership claims this is standard procedure. Even if it is, does n't a credit reporting agency take into account multiple credit inquiries when someone is shopping for a vehicle?
