Incorrect information on credit report Public record New York

I received a state tax lien in 2011 and it was immediately paid. NY state removed the account from my experian and equifax credit reports last year, but left it on trans union. This is impacting my ability to get a car loan and refinance my debts. It is also impacting my ability to change jobs.
