Incorrect information on credit report Account status North Carolina
Transunion reports - account incorrectly. Account status is PAID IN FULL. They report it as collection/charge off. The account is paid in full. That is the CURRENT STATUS, and the current status is what is required to be reported by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The 24 Month payment history should show NR, as in no report, as the account was closed in -/-/-, there was no reporting from -/-/- until -/-/-. It was disputed, and was paid in full in -/-/-. The reporting should show 3 months of late payments, and then a charge off -/-/-, then it was closed, it should show NR, until -/-/- when it should show pays as agreed, then should show NR for -/-/- and after that. Balance should be $0.00, actual payment amount should be $1000.00. The report should show charge off amount of $410.00. Date closed should be -/-/-, as they re-opened the account to accept full payment, and - agreed at that time to report the account as paid in full, in exchange for the disputed payment in full of $1000.00. Comments should read Paid in Full after disputed charge off, the account reporting is still under dispute. - promised the consumer to show the account as PAID IN FULL STATUS when they accepted the disputed amount in -/-/-.
