I called an requested a payoff and sent payment on the date the payoff was requested. Then an attempt was made to draft my account for an additional $290.00. I called and they said the payoff was only good for that date and that my payment was not made on that date. So they tried to charge me a return check fee and said I owed another $48.00 in unpaid fees. So they are charging me $350.00. I requested a 10 day payoff so I am sure this would be paid in full so I would not have any problems with my bank but wanted to file this complaint because the letter they sent me indicates they could charge me again. The 10 day payoff is for $370.00. I am going to pay $380.00.
