To : CFPB - - - - - -, # - -, OH - ( - ) - - : - To whom this may concern : I am writing today to inform you that while applying for a mortgage recently, I learned of a derogatory item showing on my Transunion credit report, which is inaccurate. Specifically, the alleged item is for a late payment to a line of credit that was never used. There ca n't be a late payment when you do n't carry a balance. I respectfully request that this item be removed from my credit report based on the above information. Attached is the portion of my Transunion report showing the derogatory item. Sincerely, - -
