In -, I had some - work done on time payment and was forwarded a credit card right away from a company called Care Credit to make my payments. Everything was fine for awhile until I started receiving notices and robo telephone calls from Care Credit staff stating my payments were late even though I made my payment through the mail and sometimes on line, If I though I 'd might be late by mail. Sometimes Care Credit would bill me and others times I would not receive a bill. When I inquired as to what happened to my statements for payment, Care credit mentioned that they had sent me an email ( who would sent a bill to a consumer via email and not notified the consumer? Now, they are trying to make me pay late fees and have gone up on my premiums without proper notification. I have notified Care credit that I can not access their computer systems anymore to pay my bills, but that does not seem to fazethem. Meanwhile, I continued to make the same payments I had agreed upon in my original papers ( which is $160.00 and late fees if I am ever late but this is not enough for Care Credit. I have all of my paid receipts and all correspondence received from Care Credit from - through -, and will be appreciative if you can assist me in any way that you can. Incidentially, a class action suit was filed against Care Credit/GE Capital Retail Bank/now called Synchrony Bank in the U.S. - - for - - - - - California and the final hearing was on - -, -. In reading the transcript ( which is online ), the defendants won this suit for - - dollars and maybe more. Any legal services you can recommend to me will be appreciated. I do need to mentioned to you that I am a retired senior and also a - student, and I need to clean up this matter as soon as possible so I can go on with my education.
