Elan Financial Services have failed to pay me the incentives they promised me for credit card use. In early -, Fidelity switched their credit card service provider from - to Elan Financial Services. Elan Financial Services issued me with a new account and card. Shortly after the account switch, on - -, -, I called Elan Financial Services specifically asking whether there was an incentives cap. I made this enquiry as the prior service provider to my Fidelity credit card account ( - ) did have such a cap, and over the years in using that card I have systematically switched to using another credit card when I reached that cap. Thus, I made a specific call to understand whether I would need to continue to switch to another card under the Elan Financial Services incentives program ( I would have made such a
However, on - -, -, Elan Financial Services specifically informed me that such a cap definitely did not apply to my account. Please note that I have notes of that call, and I expect that they record phone calls for quality purposes. Following several subsequent phone enquiries in late -, I received a letter from Elan Financial Services on - -, -, informing me of a cap and refusing to pay for incentives stemming from approximately $30000.00 of spending in the fall of -. This spending equates to approximately $600.00 in incentives owed to me. I have since written them again reminding them of these facts and demanding payment.
