I am filing a complaint against Synchrony Bank ( - - -, -, FL - ). Synchrony Bank is affiliated with several companies that I have or had credit with, namely JCPenny Credit Card, Amazon, Old Navy, Discount Tire, Walmart and PayPal. My complaint with them relates to account ( s ) limits authorized with them and their reduction of my credit limit without warrant. It is not the fact that the credit was reduced, but sometimes reduced below my original credit line which ultimately negatively affects my credit score. In the case with Old Navy, the account was paid in full and Synchrony failed to notify me. Around - time, I attempted to make a purchase and my card was closed by Synchrony. In another case with Amazon, my credit was reduced causing a credit on my account because I had already paid the balance in full. Synchrony kept the credit on my account and did not refund me the difference. In another case with JCPenney Credit Card, the credit limit of $210.00 was reduced to $100.00 which negatively affected my credit. I strongly believe that the posture that Synchrony has taken with my accounts has negatively affected my credit causing me hardship and - on my family.
