Rewards checks are mailed out with - statements, and I cancelled my card just after the - statement was paid, so a - statement would still be mailed to me. The credit card company cancelled my rewards for $180.00 even though they were supposed to be mailed with the - Statement. I spoke with them online, and they said they could reopen the account within 24 hours if I spoke with a manager. I spoke with a manager ( named - ) and she refused to refund the amount or reopen the account. The person I spoke with online ( named - ) said the manager 's decision is beyond her control.
