Barclays PLC Credit card department,
My Barclays credit card has twice misreported activity on my credit card. Once in - - and - -. Talking w/ someone on their customer service line is a waste of time. They do n't understand what you are complaining about and make unrelated suggestions to resolve your problem. Talking w/ them gets you nowhere. I have not made purchases that caused me to exceed my credit limit. When the company has added my monthly interest to my balance ( which I would not know ahead of time the amount will be ) and it causes the balance to then exceed my credit limit they turn around and report that I went over my limit. No other credit card uses this unfair practice. How would a consumer know ahead of time at what point to not exceed. If that were the case they should say if you have a $3500.00 credit limit ... .never spend over $3400.00. It 's ridiculous. I am filing a formal complaint over this unfair practice with the FTC, the CFPB and w/b filing a dispute on my credit reports. I canceled my account today but I want this fixed.
