I was involved in a car accident in - of 2013. I was not at fault and the other driver 's insurance was to pay all medical expenses. The insurance company was - and all expenses were paid in full. The collection angency has been in contact with me multiple times and each time I inform that that I am not responsible for this debt and they should contact -. I am then told that it is my job to contact - to collect the debt. I did not handle any of the paying of the other medical bills as all bills were paid directly paid by the insurance company. I then offered to pay the balance in order to remove this from my credit and they told me that I was irresponsible and they would not remove it even though I am paying a debt I am not liable for. This amount is affecting my credit score for an incident that I should have no part of.
