Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Florida
The AMCA ( American Medical Collection Agency ) are trying to collect a debt for $960.00 that is not mine. The first letter I received from them was on -, then - on - and this - - on - and now dated - on their letter. This last letter is written in a threatening tone. I responded on the same letters they sent me on -, -, - and mailed the response the same day explaining in very courteous form that they billed me in error, the same on - and now again on -. The letter they sent on - I faxed to my doctor as % his request. I explained on the other letters to AMCA the DEBT IS NOT mine and that I am - and on food stamps as well. I HAVE -. and these threatening in tone communications are exacerbating all my symptoms. They stated in this last letter that I had not disputed the debt ; a blatant lie on their end as I have responded in written form 3 times and I keep copies of everything!!! They have attempted this in the past as well with a much smaller debt. That ended in -/-/- but went on for 2 years prior to that as well. Is this company is preying on me because I am -??? Please help me as best you can.
