Well this happened in - - 2016 and i was working and my boss needed me to get some materials so i took the work truck. On my way to work i accently rear ended a lady, nothing too bad just a back bumper and the left taillight were damaged from what i could see. I contacted my boss and he spoke with the lady saying he would take care of it and he would pay for the repairs. So thats exactly what happened like - 3 weeks later he told me he payed - for the repairs and stuff and she took her car and left. She didnt contact him anymore or anything and when i went to court a month later she wasnt there either. I payed my court fees and that was the end of that .well i thought so until i receice a letter from - stating that i crashed - of their customers on - - 2016 when it was on - - 2016 and it stated that i owed an amount of $4300.00 for crashing her and to add my insurance agency details i added my boss 's insurance company instead since i feel it was his vehicle that wasnt insured i dont get why my insurance agency needs to be contacted.so i sent the letter and like 3 weeks later i get a letter from collection saying i still owe those $4300.00. Im really confused and kinda mad as to why i need to pay this debt when first of all my boss payed her costs and why am i bearly getting this when this happened 5 months ago. I kind of think she 's trying to get money out of this situation since im guessing she didnt report it at the crash scene. Whatever the case is i shouldnt be paying all this money i feel that this debt should n't exist
