1. Have very strong credit history and payment history with all credit cards 2. In - I applied Amex Delta card for - miles + statement credit, which I did n't receive after 4-5 calls ( every time being assured and waiting few weeks ). Finally, was told wo n't receive miles, so had to cancel the card. 3. I kept getting similar offers from Delta & Amex, which I ignored 4. While booking my Delta airlines for Alaska, I once again got offered as part of the booking, which I confirmed to receive before applying as part of ticket booking 5. I met criteria in less than a week to be sure 6. After not seeing miles or credit, I called. Was assured after lengthy discussion and informed to get call in a week.
false assurance. 8. Finally after few months, I am being told wo n't get any miles or credit, 'I was given wrong information earlier and nothing can be done '. Underlying message was read terms & conditions, all other assurances were just sales gimmick. 9. This is beyond frustrating & bad business practice and need to be really resolved. Also need to stop them from doing this again to any other customers.
