Closing/Cancelling account New York
I called the company to request the account closed and a final bill to be sent. I was never late on my payments. They left the account open and charged late fees. I called back twice and was assured that the account would be closed by my request, late fees removed, and sent the payoff balance. To my dismay after I paid my bill with one payment in full they took my payment and update my account with the creditors a negative collection closing by their request instead of by the true accurance that I requested closed, paid my bill in full and was never late.
