As of - 2016, My wife and I have reached a payoff settlement on a 2nd mortgage / home equity line of credit with Regions Bank. The funds were received by the lender and the lien plus judgement were removed. The lender has not however removed the negative items listed on my credit reports which has a very negative impact on all other aspects of my financial affairs and since this was paid as agreed, I should not continue to suffer as a result of what was predatory lending practices.
