Incorrect information on credit report Information is not mine Connecticut

I have been constantly going back and fourth with equifax. Equifax stated here on -/-/16 that they where not showing frontier communications on my credit file. I spoke to a rep today and he informed me that equifax is still on my credit file. He also informed me that it was never deleted and will not be deleted as the account is still under investigation. He told me that despite me submitting the email from frontier they do not accept that as proof. If frontier continues to say this is my account then it will continue to remain on my account although the rep told me he could not find me by name, social, or date of birth or address. Apparently equifax has lied in their response to the CFPB with you will find attached. This account is seriously damaging my credit and needs to be removed asap. The are playing games that are damaging my credit. This is very unacceptable.
