My business went bankrupt after the crash of our local economy around 2009. Now that I have a job again, I have been trying to settle my credit card debt with Bank of America but I have found that the banks have written off the debt and will not allow me to settle with them but they also refuse to remove the judgement from my credit report which is giving me a low credit score and keeps me from being able to refinance my home. I am trying to recover financially from this failed economy but the banks that were bailed out are preventing me the consumer from any recovery financially. HELP!!
