Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine
Choice Recovery, Inc. Debt collection department,
I do not know Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Alabama
On -/-/2016 I started the process to get a debt from Choice Recovery validated after seeing a trade line on my report in the collections tab. I sent a certified letter dated -/-/2016 to the address listed on my credit report ( - - - -, - -, - Ohio - ) disputing this debt and requesting validation of said debt within my rights of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Statute 807 ( 15 USC 1962e ), which requires them to send me validation containing MY signature for the debt owed to them within 30 days of receipt of my letter. The letter was received on -/-/2016. No response, no validation, and they did n't mark my credit report DISPUTED, which violates the FCRA, Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ). Already with no proof of my signature validating the debt and their lack of response, they have already broken federal law. I sent a follow up letter dated -/-/2016, received and signed for on -/-/2016, stating to them that by not providing me with validation of the debt, by furnishing proof of contract and signature with them, and demanding removal of their trade line from my credit report immediately if no validation can be provided. Today is now -/-/2016, and there has been ZERO response from this agency. All letters have been ignored. I have all documentation of my attempts of correspondence with Choice Recovery and can provide them if need be.
