Midwest Recovery Systems placed an account in collections under all three of my credit bureau reports - as of -/-/- in the amount of $810.00. I have not received any written or verbal communication from this company regarding this collection nor have they allowed me the chance to validate this debt prior to placing it into collections on my reports. My credit reports state this account went unpaid as of - which is not true! I have not had any unpaid accounts in more than 7 years as I have watched my credit reports vigorously. Therefore, this can not be correct. The account number listed on the reports for this collection is # -. If this company can not validate or verify this debt they are not allowed to collect it. Also, an account can not be reported if the ORIGINAL DATE OF DELINQUENCY is more than seven years. Midwest Recovery Systems will need to provide proof of the original delinquency date which is the date the account first became delinquent ( with original debtor ) and after which it was never again brought current in order to continue reporting.
