Synchrony bank ( formerly GE credit ) closed my account two months before the rewards payments were to be paid. I was in a " chat '' discussion with a SYNB associate expressing my displeasure at the new policy of not making statements available online. I stated that I did not wish to do business with SYNB due to this policy. The " chat specialist '' was supposed to connect me to a phone call to inquire about my cash rewards on $10000.00 of purchases, but instead was disconnected. When I called back the person told me that the account was already closed and my cash was forfeited! My bill was already scheduled on the due date of - of a payment in full for the full statement balance, but did not include pending charges. I want my rewards and a method of payment for the bill that will be due in -. I have not received any further correspondence other than " Thank you for chatting with us ''. Synchrony Bank AKA - Bank - GE Capitol, GE Credit is a disreputable business which preys on consumers who are the most vulnerable and least suspecting. It seems that they do NOT care about their reputation and have already been fined and brought into class action lawsuits, but continue to defraud consumers. It seems that it is more profitable pay out millions in fines and continue the unscrupulous conduct than to change these practices. Please crack down on these crooks and put the word out there to department stores who are drawn in by promises made by these crooks.
