I found a fraudulent charge on my Barclays Elite Black Card and I have been a loyal customer of theirs for many years. However, when I attempted to report the charge to them, I was told that I needed to file a police report. I faxed them this report many times and keep being told that it is not received, despite the confirmation I have for the faxes I have sent. Now it has been nearly three months since I initially reported the charge in - of -. On -/-/- I attempted to speak with Barclays about resolving the matter, they finally confirmed receipt of the police report and then attempted to tell me the fraud dispute has been closed since - of - which is impossible since I did not notice and report the charge until - of -. Once I said this was incorrect the investigations representative became very rude and hung up on me when I asked to speak with a manager that could investigate the faulty information. When I called back, twice, I was hung up on again by the investigations representatives each time.
