Synchrony Bank closed my Walmart Credit Card based on information over 3 months old and has in the past taken action on old information causing serious harm to my credit score. Every time I had any available balance they would immediately lower my credit limit so there was nothing available again. Every reason they quoted for closure has revolved less than 10 days after the date of the info they used and was updated on the credit report claim to have used, they chose to use old info to validate their decision instead of the current info, when I called & contested the decision they told me there was nothing they would do, They also are the bank on my Old Navy card & have taken similar actions in the past, lowering my credit limit so there was nothing available regardless of actual history on that card. They lowered it over $500.00 in one month alone and continued taking similar actions.
