Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I purchases a sectional sofa from rooms to go - 2016 using a $5300.00 line of credit issued by - and Synchrony Bank. I was enticed by the no interest payments. The sofa was delivered with defects and then returned. I purchased another sofa and loveseat that was also delivered defective. That set was exchanged for an identical sofa and loveseat, defects and all. After the the third and final return, I chose not to purchase another set. I began receiving past due credit notices and even a fraud alert for being over 30 days past due. I had been assured by the store manager in - GA that no charges would accrue. Then I went to the - outlet and purchased a sofa. However, I learned my credit was frozen due to outstanding charges of $360.00 from the original purchases on my credit card. After speaking to customer service and the store on multiple occasions, I have still, three months later, not been refunded the proper amount and I continue receiving several phone calls a day for payment. There have not been any other charges on my bill other than the defective purchases. I need this remedied so I am not reported as delinquent and no longer harassed for money that is not mine to pay. Please help!
