I was sent texts from someone stating they were from - - - and I was to pay $220.00 for xrays I received. I thought it was a mistake and ignored the first text. I responded to the second text instructing them to bill my medical insurance. Yesterday, I received a letter from CMRE Financial Services saying that they are a collection agency and I owe $220.00. I confirmed with the - radiology groups in my county that I have no outstanding bills. I have EOBs from both of my insurance companies where they paid for the last two times I had xrays. - - - - said I had n't been to them since 2011 and they had no outstanding bills for me. All three companies said they would NEVER text me. I have not contacted CMRE Financial Services because I 'm not sure what the consequences would be if I did.
