Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Synchrony Bank/Care Credit is reporting inaccurate information on my credit report in regards to a charged off credit card. I contacted - - at Synchrony Bank in - of 2015 because I wanted more information about the account. - stated that she could not give me any information about this account because Synchrony did n't have any information listed in their computer system. The only information available to - was my name, social security number and a account number. - advised me to dispute the validity of the account with the credit bureaus and Synchrony Bank in which I did. I received a letter from Sychrony Bank stating that they could not provide me with any information on this account because the account was sold to - -. Synchrony Bank also verified the account as reporting accurately with the credit bureaus but they can not provide me with any documentation on this account. Synchrony Bank/Care Credit has violated the FCRA by verifiying inaccurate information with the credit bureaus and proper documentation can not be supplied. How can they verify this information without the proper documents.
