Synchrony Financial Credit Card Complaint

Billing statement

Synchrony Financial Credit card department,

Billing statement Ohio

Care Credit charges interest 25 days from the date of purchase, instead of from the end of the billing cycle like most credit cards. With all of my other credit cards, there is no interest as long as the balance is paid in full by the billing date. So if my purchase is not a promotional offer I am expected to pay the balance within 25 days of the purchase date, regardless of whether or not I have got my billing statement yet. How am I supposed to know what charges need paid in order to not have interest if I have n't even been mailed my statement yet? These are new charges, which were not on my last billing statement. When I called to ask why I was being charged interest, I was told I should register with online banking so i could see my purchases and know if a payment was required before the billing date. The customer service representative said all credit card companies have this same policy, which is not true. I have no interest in registering with online banking with this company. I think they are dishonest and plan on closing my account once my balance is paid off. I think this is just a scam to get money from innocent customers. I looked at my bill and no where on it does it say the amount must be paid 25 days from the date of purchase. I used to respect this company, but I do n't anymore because of their deceptive practices.
