When we applied for a loan with Amerisave mortgage, we were required to supply a credit card for an appraisal before we ever got a good faith estimate ( GFE ). Amerisave essentially performed a bait and switch on us by asking for additional items not required by any state or federal law in an attempt to charge even more eroneous fees to pad their bottom line.
